2nd hand studio is a new recording space in Dundee.
It's run by me, Ed Muirhead, a musician, composer & producer.
Recently I've got a dedicated space and invested in more good-quality secondhand gear, hence the name!
The room is quite compact, suited to a solo performer, duo - or we've also had an acoustic trio.
It's a flexible space, and can be set up to record either vocals, guitars, drum kit, bass, synths, or any instruments that can fit in . . .

Come and record your tracks, bring your music to life - and use the gear pictured here (plus more).
Standard rate: £16 per 30min
Learn basic studio skills, including microphone selection, guitar recording, tracking, mixing and much more. I have 10 years experience tutoring music and full PVG scheme membership.
The playlists feature some tracks from 14 albums I've produced, ranging from singer-songwriter to blues, solo piano to orchestral works, collectively with over 2 million streams from listeners all over the world.
